How Oswen handles your information

What Oswen keeps
- Your account: your email address, your name if you give it, and, if you use Sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides.
- Your household: what you and the people in your home tell Oswen or show him: people and their roles, routines, reminders, things in the home, bills, documents and notes.
- Conversations: what you write or say to Oswen and the photos or documents you share with him, so he can understand and act on them.
- Settings: your country, time zone, language and formats, so dates, times and local information are right for your home.
- Device and service details: a notification token so reminders and alarms reach your phone, the app version you use, and the status of your subscription as reported by Apple.
Why
Only to provide Oswen to your household: to understand your home, remember what matters, remind and notify you, prepare what you ask for, and keep the service working and secure. Oswen does not sell your information and does not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Each household is kept separate. Inside your home, what a person can see follows their role, which you control. Someone with a limited role sees what is relevant to them, without private financial information, personal documents or private notes. Sensitive details are kept only after a person confirms them.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase, which hosts Oswen's database, sign-in and server functions.
- OpenAI, whose models Oswen uses to understand text, speech, photos and documents and to write replies. Only what a request needs is sent.
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple, notifications and App Store subscriptions.
- Cloudflare, which serves this website.
If you are offered a longer free trial through a partner service, Oswen may confirm with that partner, using only your email address, whether you are eligible. No household information is shared with the partner.
Your choices
- See what Oswen keeps about your home, correct it, or ask him to forget it.
- Change who belongs to your home and what each person can see.
- Delete your household or your account from the app.
- Write to us to access, correct or delete your information, or with any privacy question: [email protected].
Younger members of a household
Oswen accounts are for adults. Information about anyone in a household is kept for that household's own use and is visible only as its roles allow.
This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Signing in sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

We will update this notice as Oswen grows and show the date of the latest version above.
